Communication to our Vendors is at the very top of our list. We will be in contact with you every step of the way during the sale of your property, including informing you of the marketing campaign prior to proceeding, prompt feedback from all inspections and/or open houses. We also provide you with a written weekly report giving you regular feed-back during the marketing period.

Open Houses
We have a large “OPEN” flag outside your home at all Open Houses. This gives greater awareness to people passing by and makes it easy for buyers looking for your home.
Please note: Although we encourage Open Houses, Internal photos and “For Sale” boards as an effective way in promoting your home, the decision is yours. If you prefer not to use any of these marketing strategies just let us know and your decision will be respected
We provide realistic Market Appraisals
We do our homework! Our Market Appraisal is our honest opinion of what the property is worth. This opinion is based on comparable sales in the area and the current market trends. We also physically measure your home at the time of the appraisal to get correct measurements: this also helps to give an accurate market opinion of your property. We will never give you an inflated figure just to obtain your listing.
MARKETING:
Our marketing is extensive. We like to provide you with the widest possible exposure through a co-ordinated advertising campaign. The aim of marketing is to achieve the highest possible price without complications and without a long selling period. Property knowledge and a well-planned marketing campaign are the keys to achieving the best possible result.
Our Agency takes the view that professional, well-planned marketing can increase the ultimate selling price.
Internet Sites
The internet is becoming the main source purchasers’ use in searching for Real Estate. Our recent statistics on “Where our phone calls are coming from” show that a huge percent of our first initial contact is from the internet. All website pages of your property are printed for you, as well as a brochure so you know how your property is being promoted and marketed. After the sale is successful, a disc is made for you with all the photos taken of your property. This is a great keepsake for the memories.
Buyer’s Register
We keep an updated computer database of active prospective purchasers. We keep in touch with these purchasers and let them know immediately when a property becomes available that may suit their needs. We do this by email and phone calls.
Colour Brochures
Attractive colour brochures of your property are printed and include (if available) internal photos. These are displayed in our office and are given out to prospective purchasers.
“Weekly Updates Email”
An email is sent out weekly, letting 600+ potential purchasers know about any “New Listings”. It includes a link to the property via our website for further information. We also include “Open House” times for the coming Saturday, price changes and any other information that may be of interest. This email list is growing rapidly and is proving very popular with purchasers.
Window Display
Our Window Display is located on a high profile Street & attracts many visitors. At night it is flood lit & displays all our current listings.
“FOR SALE” Board
A “For Sale Board” is erected to alert people driving/ walking by that the property is available for sale. The sign board works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Property Guide
Our Gilson Yonson Real Estate – Property Guide is a comprehensive, colour, up-to-date booklet listing all of our available properties. This booklet is given out freely at our office and open houses to prospective purchasers.
